CULTIVATING SYSTEM OF SEAWEED USING HOT DISCHARGING WATER OF POWER PLANT

PURPOSE: A system for culturing a large amount of marine algae and microalgae using hot waste water from a power plant is provided to maintain productivity of marine algae and microalgae which are sensitive by temperature change, to use the hot waste water as cooling water of the power plant, and to discharge the hot waste water as cooling water without change of water temperature in the sea. CONSTITUTION: A culturing system comprises a warm water discharging pipe(12), a warm water pipe(16), one or more water tank devices(20), and a cooling water pipe(18). The warm water discharging pipe is used for discharging hot waste water from a power plant(10) and a factory. The warm water pipe is connected to the warm water discharging pipe and transfers warm water. The water tank device is connected to the warm water pipe at one side and is used for culturing sea algae and microalgae. The cooling water pipe is connected to the other side of the water tank device for transferring the cooling water. The culturing system has an inner tank and an outer tank. The outer tank stores warm water, and is connected to the warm water pipe at one side and with the cooling water pipe at the other side. The inner tank is mounted in the outer tank and contains a culture medium, the sea algae, and the microalgae. A separate space is formed between the inner tank and the outer tank and is filled with warm water.
