FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biocidal compositions. The biocidal composition contains: an effective amount of a biocide selected from one or more 3-iodo-2-propynylbutylcarbamate (IPBC), octylisothiazolinone (OIT), diiodomethyl-p-tolylsuphone (DIMTS), triazine-based biocides, such as terbutryne, cybutryne and prometryne, azoles, such as propiconazole, difenoconazole, cyproconazole and tebuconazole, 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide (DBNPA), 2-bromo-2-nitropropane-1,3-diol (bronopol), and 2,2-dibromo-3-nitrilopropionamide; and alkylpolyglycol liquid support of formula (I): R-O-(AO)-H, where R is C-Calkyl; AO is an ethylene oxide group and n is the average number of repeating AO elementary units and is equal to at least 4. The composition is obtained by mixing the ingredients.
