Provided is an organic EL display panel wherein it is possible to increase luminance. An organic EL display panel provided with a substrate (4), pixel electrodes (5) formed in a matrix, pixel restriction layers (7) for covering the edges of the pixel electrodes (5) facing one another in the column direction, partitioning walls (8) formed so as to extend in the column direction between the pixel electrodes (5) facing one another in the row direction, hole transport layers (9) formed within openings formed by means of the partitioning walls (8), an organic light-emitting layer (10) formed above the hole transport layers (9), and a common electrode formed above the organic light-emitting layer (10), wherein light is emitted from a first light-emitting section (A1), in which the portion of the organic light-emitting layer (10) formed above a region on the pixel electrodes (5) excluding the pixel restriction layers (7) functions as the light-emitting part, and second light-emitting sections (A2, A2'), in which the portion of the organic light-emitting layer (10) formed on a region above the pixel restriction layers (7) and above the pixel electrodes functions as the light-emitting part.
