<p>Provided is a method and device for performing a polymerase chain reaction under a constant heat reservoir, wherein the method is a method based on the Rayleigh-Benard principle, whereby heat is provided to or removed from specific regions of reaction tubes to establish a bottom-up temperature gradient for the reagents in the reaction tubes, and convection occurs spontaneously due to the uneven heating of the reaction reagents; thus corresponding PCR amplification occurs when fluids flow through the different temperature regions. Also provided are a reaction to realize the method and a device for real-time fluorescent detection.</p>
