PURPOSE: An epoxy resin nanocomposite material is provided to have excellent impact strength by a simple process which mixes the exfoliated graphite nanoplate functionalized by an amine-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile group into an epoxy resin. CONSTITUTION: An epoxy resin nanocomposite material contains an exfoliated graphite nanoplate functionalized by an amine-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile. The epoxy resin is selected from bisphenol epoxy resin, novolac type epoxy resin, and an aliphatic epoxy resin. The impact strength of the epoxy resin is 30-40 J/m. The comprised amount of the amine-terminated butadiene acrylonitrile in the epoxy resin is 0.5-2 wt%. |
