FIELD: chemistry.SUBSTANCE: in the disclosed flow method of measuring concentration of a chemical element in a hydraulic system, the analysed liquid is fed by a peristaltic pump into an optical cell over one channel through a pipe and is removed from said cell over another channel through another pipe. The pipe, through which the liquid enters the cell, lies above the level of the liquid in the cell and the pipe, through which the liquid is removed from the cell, lies on the level of the liquid in the cell. The immersion depth of the pipe in the cell determines the volume and the level of the liquid in the cell. The capacity of the channel for pumping the liquid out of the cell must be greater than that of the channel for feeding the liquid into the cell.EFFECT: providing thorough washing of the cell when a sample with strongly varying concentrations of the determined element is fed, constant level of the liquid in the cell and removal of air bubbles, which emerge on the surface of the liquid and intercept light flux when taking measurements, without a bubble separator.2 cl, 4 dwg |
