PURPOSE: A circuit breaker monitoring system is provided to be combined with a plurality of circuit breakers for collecting information about the states of the circuit breakers and monitoring conditions of equipment, thereby easily transmitting information to an upper level device. CONSTITUTION: A circuit breaker monitoring system comprises a plurality of CBDIs and a monitoring part(10). The monitoring part is connected to a master CBDI(20) through a main terminal(21) of the master CBDI. The master CBDI and a slave CBDI(31) are connected to each other through a sub terminal(22) of the master CBDI and a sub terminal(31) of the slaver CBDI. The slave CBDIs(31~34) are connected to each other through sub terminals thereof. The monitoring part, the master CBDI, and the slave CBDIs communicate with each other through a predetermined serial communication protocol.
