PURPOSE: A hot water circulation system associated with a heat pump and a control method thereof are provided to circulate water within a water outlet pipe by ejecting foreign materials or air within a water outlet pipe through an air diffuser to the outside of a water outlet pipe. CONSTITUTION: A hot water circulation system associated with a heat pump comprises a water pump(36), a water pipe, an air ventilation unit, a timer(130), and a control unit(100). The water pipe guides a circulation of water by using a flow force generated from the water pump. The air ventilation unit is provided in one side of the water pump or the water pipe, and exhausts air remaining within the water pipe. The timer integrates an actuating time of the water pump. The control unit controls a performance of an air discharge mode by operating the water pump for a setting time, when recognizing that an installation of a recirculation system is finished.
