<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an on-vehicle electronic control device and a diagnostic system for storing proper driving information by an extremely small storage quantity, for analyzing the cause of generating predetermined vehicle behavior. <P>SOLUTION: In determining processing 1, this on-vehicle electronic control device sets 1 in a change history arranged with every piece of the driving information (S402), when any of the plurality of pieces of driving information indicates a predetermined change (S400: Yes). In storage processing 1, the on-vehicle electronic control device determines that any piece of the driving information indicates the predetermined change between the last time storage processing and this time storage processing when the change history of any piece of the driving information is 1 (S410: Yes), stores a present time as a change time in an area arranged in a RAM in response to the driving information of indicating the predetermined change, and sets the change history to 0 (S414).
