A SEPARATOR HAVING POROUS COATING AND ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE CONTAINING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A separator is provided to improve an elctrical property and a lifespan property by forming porous coating layers on the surface using 'inorganic particle on which a carbon film is formed'. CONSTITUTION: A separator comprises multi-porous material (1) with multiple pores; 'an inorganic particle on which a film is formed' which is formed on at least one surface of the porous material and one or more of regions among the pores of the porous material and a porous coating layer with 'a binder that connects and fixes the inorganic particles on which the carbon film is formed'. The carbon film is a continuous phase of a discontinuous phase. The thickness of the carbon film is 0.1-1,000 nm and the average diameter of the inorganic particles is 0.01-10 micron.
