FIELD: power engineering.SUBSTANCE: nuclear reactor vessel comprises a chamber and a reactor core with the first and second sets of channels. A reproduction salt flows through the first set of channels, and a fuel salt flows through the second set of channels. The chamber receives the reproduction salt from the first set of channels. The reproduction salt is an initial material for fuel reproduction for the reaction of fission in the fuel salt and transfers heat produced as a result of the fission reaction, without mixing with the fuel salt. The method of reactor operation provides for submersion of the nuclear reactor body into the reproduction salt reservoir, circulation of the reproduction salt through two sets of channels, transfer of heat from the fission reaction by means of heat exchange of the fuel salt and the reproduction salt in the reactor core.EFFECT: higher passive safety of a reactor, optimisation of its heat removal system.19 cl, 6 dwg |
