<p>In the present invention, a necessary and sufficient lubrication effect is maintained and wear of a lubricant is suppressed. Provided is a steering truck (11) configured so that a wheel set (2) of the truck can be steered. A solid lubricant application device is disposed at a position facing a flange (2aa) on a wheel (2a) at a vehicle travel direction outer side portion of the wheel set (2) of a truck frame (1), and is provided with the following: a solid lubricant (3) attached so as to freely come in contact with and separate from the flange (2aa); a spring (4) for impelling the solid lubricant (3) towards the flange (2aa); and a stopper (12) that restricts movement of the solid lubricant (3) toward to the flange (2aa) so that, when passing through a curved section, contact of the lubricant to the flange is only made at the outer-track side wheel (2a) that comes closer to the lubricant due to forward and backward movement of the wheel set (2) along the vehicle travel direction by steering, and so that no contact is made at the inner-rail side wheel (2a) that moves away from the lubricant when passing through a curved section and at neither side wheel when travelling in straight sections.</p> |
