<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine that completes or interrupts a specific performance during a jackpot game depending on the will of a player. <P>SOLUTION: When the number of balls having entered a jackpot device reaches the maximum limit of balls, or when a maximum round continuance time elapses, a round game constituting the jackpot game ends. The game machine performs a normal round game where a normal opening/closing pattern that increases the maximum limit of balls is set to control the jackpot device, and a specific round game where a special opening/closing pattern that reduces the maximum limit of balls is set to control the jackpot device. The special opening/closing pattern alternately repeats a state where the jackpot device is kept opened for a first time, and a state where the jackpot device is kept closed for a second time longer than the first time.
