<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load of a CPU mounted in an electronic control unit. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU 10 updates control data in a control data memory area 41 of a RAM 33, every time the control data is operated by repeating operation processing for controlling a control object. A DMA controller 34 transfers the control data in the control data memory area 41 to a data transfer area 42 in the RAM 33 without inserting processing of a CPU 31, every time a transfer period elapses; and determines whether or not the control data stored in the control data memory area 41 and control data stored in the data transfer area 42 disagree, before transferring the control data from the control data memory area 41 to the data transfer area 42.
