<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dash pot which stably operates when set horizontally even in a case where air bubbles accumulates on a bottom of a cylinder at the time of manufacturing the dash pot. <P>SOLUTION: The dash pot includes a cylinder (2) which has a shape of a bottomed cylinder and is made of nonmagnetic material, a plunger (3) made of magnetic material, a brake spring (4) which pushes the plunger (3) toward the bottom of the cylinder (2), a brake oil (5), and a pole head (6) which seals the cylinder (2) and is made of magnetic material. The dash pot is used in a condition in which the cylinder (2) is set horizontally. In the cylinder (2), the brake oil can be moved through a passage which is narrower than the cross section of the cylinder (2) at the bottom, with an air bubble reservoir chamber having a cross section wider than the passage being provided, and the brake oil and the air bubbles are filled in the air bubble reservoir chamber. The dash pot (1) can prevent air bubbles from occurring between the pole head (6) and the plunger (3) due to behavior of the plunger (3). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
