<p>A tray (l) comprises a plateau (1) for carrying things, provided with a raised circumferential edge (3), an elongated handle (7, 8) which comprises a handgrip (3), and which is hinged by a joint (6) to a circumferential edge (4) of said plateau (2), wherein the elongated handle (7, 8) is pivotable, by means of the hinge joint (6), between a rest position and an operational position, in which operational position the elongated handle (7, 8) extends upwards to position the handgrip (8) thereof at a distance above the centre of said plateau (2), whereby the elongated handle (7,8), in the rest position thereof, is entirely positioned so as to be contiguous to at least part of the circumferential edge (4) of said plateau (2). In the rest position of the handle (7, 8), it nay surround half of the plateau of the tray (l), wherein the hinge joint (6) has a hinge pin (10) which extends parallel to the local edge of the tray (1).</p> |
