The machine (1) has an armature (4) rotatably supported in a housing (2) during operation of the machine such that resulting additive force works on the armature in a defined radial direction, where amount of the force corresponds to weight force of the armature. The additive force is generated by a commutation device that has carbon brushes (6). The brushes are arranged over the circumference and loaded by brush springs (8) in the radial direction. Permanent magnets (3) are arranged at an inner side of the housing, where magnetic force is distributed asymmetrically over the circumference.
