The ignition electrode (1) has a ceramic insulator (2) comprising a circulating groove (2a) i.e. annular groove, into which an inner edge of a label (4) i.e. plastic lamina, is engaged. A central electrode is projected from the insulator. The label comprises a hole through which the insulator is inserted. The groove comprises a wall rising diagonally in an axial direction of the insulator, on a side and steep, vertically rising wall on an opposite side. The inner edge of the label comprises incisions running in a radial direction.
