The device has a tool clamping arrangement (12) arranged at an end side to releasably retain a tool (13), and a retainer bolt (1) provided at another end of the device. The retainer bolt is connected with a housing (8) in a direction of an axis (21). A spindle (11) movable in the axis direction is arranged in the housing. An energy storage unit i.e. pressure spring, is arranged towards the axis between the retainer bolt and an end of the spindle, where the tool clamping arrangement is arranged at another end of the spindle. A rotational motion is feedable on the spindle.
