PURPOSE: A two phase anaerobic digestion apparatus is provided to separate the growth condition of microorganisms to each stage, to control the each condition of the stage automatically, and to enhance processing efficiency. CONSTITUTION: The two phase anaerobic digestion apparatus comprises reservoirs(200, 300), and first and second reaction baths. The reservoirs store organic waste. The first reaction bath is connected to the reservoirs, and hydrolysis and acid generation occurs. The second reaction bath is connected to the first reaction bath, and methanogenesis occurs. The driving condition the first reaction bath and the second reaction bath is differently controlled in terms of each other, and the effective volume of the second reaction bath is greater than the first reaction bath.
