The invention provides a system and a method for automatically assembling optical sheets of backlight unit. The system for automatically assembling optical sheets of backlight unit comprises a main conveyer which is configured to linearly transmit optical sheets, an extensible conveyor which is configured to receive the optical sheets by driving the belt to move and enable the optical sheets to overlap other optical sheets on the main conveyer through the retreating of the belt, and a non-contact conveyer which is configured to enable the optical sheets to adhere to the non-contact conveyer in a non-contact manner and transmits the optical sheets to the main conveyer or to the extensible conveyor. |
