PURPOSE: A method and an apparatus for eliminating total phosphorus/total nitrogen from wastewater using a rapid coagulating and precipitating agent are provided to prevent the generation of eutrophication and red tide. CONSTITUTION: The external part of a main body is composed of front, rear, right, and left plates and a bottom plate. The internal part of the main body is defined into a longitudinal partition(F) and a transversal partition(G). A first rapid stirring bath(1) and a second slow stirring bath(2) are formed at the right side of the main body. A sludge valve(H') is attached to a hopper. The upper edge of the hopper is combined with the front, rear, and left plates and the longitudinal partition. The remaining space of the main body is divided into an upper space and a lower space. A rapid precipitating bath(3) is formed at the upper space. Overlying water is discharged through the valve(4A) of an overflow collecting bath(4) installed in the rapid precipitating bath. |
