BOOK RECOMMENDATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a book recommendation system for selecting and presenting the optimal book to a viewer from among massive books.

SOLUTION: The book recommendation system includes: a digital broadcast receiver 60 for receiving program data from a transmitter 10; a member registration server 40 for storing the member information of a viewer in association with member ID for specifying the viewer, and for returning the member information corresponding to the member ID received from the digital broadcast receiver 60; a data broadcast server 30 for setting the bibliographic data of books relating to the content of the broadcasting to be accessible on a scheduled start time, and for extracting and returning the bibliographic data of the books corresponding to viewer classifications in the received member information on the basis of a request from the digital broadcast receiver 60; and an order server 50 for registering the received member ID and book ID in association as the order information in according with an order request from the digital broadcast receiver 60.
