<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the accuracy with which an implantable medical endoprosthesis (e.g., a self-expanding stent) is deployed within a body vessel of a patient. <P>SOLUTION: An adaptor system 100 includes a sleeve 104 configured to be disposed between an adaptor 102 and a catheter assembly including an outer sheath surrounding an inner member. The sleeve includes an inner lubricious layer.
