<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a particle measuring apparatus capable of accurately measuring a crossover frequency even when particles dispersed in a liquid are small. <P>SOLUTION: Electrodes 3a, 3b are irradiated with measurement light and generated diffracted light is measured. Movement of particles can be thus known from the intensity of the diffracted light without observing the movement itself of the particles. The crossover frequency is calculated from the diffracted light intensity and the crossover frequency is thereby calculated without reference to the size of the particles unlike before. Namely, the crossover frequency can be calculated without sticking fluorescent coloring matter on the particles, so the crossover frequency can be calculated more accurately. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
