<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of measuring the mechanical strength of a thin structure having a concave curved surface. <P>SOLUTION: Fixtures for temporary chucks 31, 31 are used to sandwich at least one of a concave curved surface of a soft contact lens (thin structure) 51 while surface-supporting it by using support members 11 and 21 composed of elastic material, the fixtures for temporary chucks 31, 31 are attached to mechanical strength measuring device chucks (measurement sample attachment parts) 61, 61 for measuring the mechanical strength. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
