A video information player device (100) comprises: a video decoder (126) which decodes content data of content and generates a video signal and a vertical synchronization signal; a synchronization frame processing unit (128) which detects the vertical synchronization signal and generates a synchronization frame triggered by the detection of the vertical synchronization signal; an Ethernet controller (121) which transmits the synchronization frame to another video information player device; and a synchronized output unit (127) which outputs the video signal in synchronization with the vertical synchronization signal. If the Ethernet controller (121) is generating an Ethernet frame when the vertical synchronization signal is detected, the synchronization frame processing unit (128) generates the synchronization frame in parallel with the generation of the Ethernet frame.
