FIELD: engines and pumps.SUBSTANCE: sleeve assembly seal comprises main compression ring and extra rings fitted in piston ring grooves. Extra [-like rung has top and bottom annular flanges adjoining the piston groove ends and interconnected by lateral cylindrical plate pressed against compression ring cylindrical surface. Extra ring top flange has through slits while its butt has end horns. Besides, debending horns are made at extra ring flanges, all over its edges. Proposed device decreases gas leaks in crankcase, rules out ring pumping effects and reduces oil ageing.EFFECT: higher engine efficiency, decreased oil consumption.1 cl, 6 dwg |
