MULTI FINGER TOUCH INPUT METHODOLOGY

This Patent Application is for a Graphical User Interface (GUI) methodology that allows the user to precisely locate a point on a touch screen device and perform an operation to that point with the same hand. This routine is typically used for, but not limited to, computer-aided drawing and other graphical related software programs. The GUI achieves this by using an offset cursor and multiple floating buttons which are visible when pressure is applied to a point on the touch screen. The offset cursor and floating buttons follow the point of contact on the screen at a fixed and ergonomic distance from the contact point. These multiple buttons facilitate the execution of various software specific commands relative to the point on the screen with the same hand, thus enabling single handed operation and interface of software requiring accurate cursor placement and command execution concurrently on a touch screen computer device.
