<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fast idle device capable of obtaining a fast idle opening making an idle opening adjusted by an idle adjusting screw a reference. <P>SOLUTION: The fast idle device 30 arranged in a throttle device 10 having a throttle body 12, a throttle valve arranged in a throttle shaft, a back spring 25, and a throttle lever 21 switches the closing position of the throttle lever 21 to an idle condition regulating to the idle opening and the fast idle condition regulating to the fast idle opening. The device further has an FID setting lever 34 arranged so as to be able to change the position to the idle condition and the fast idle condition and the idle adjusting screw 32 arranged so as to be able to adjust the idle opening in the idle condition.
