<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lap pretensioner which can release burned embers, or the like of a gas-generating agent together with gas in an extinguished state. <P>SOLUTION: An extinguishing part 110 is attached to one end of a cylinder 14 configuring a pretensioner body 12 of the pretensioner 10. A bag 120 where a fire extinguishing agent 122 is sealed is provided in a case 112 of the extinguishing part 110. When a wire 30 is moved to one end of a pretensioner body 12 together with a piston 16 by pressure of gas generated in a gas generator 72, the bag 120 is smashed into by a piercing part 136. When the burned embers such as the gas-generating agent together with the gas pass through the fire extinguishing agent 122 in this state, the fire extinguishing agent 122 adheres to the burned embers such as the gas-generating agent to extinguish fire. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
