The storage battery device (30) having a plurality of storage battery cells (31-1 to 31-n) connected in series comprises: a monitoring unit (33) for measuring voltages through the terminals of the respective storage battery cells and obtaining, based on the measured voltages, degradation information indicating the degradation states of the respective storage battery cells; a selection unit (34) for selecting at least one of the storage battery cells; an electricity supply unit (32) for supplying power to a storage battery cell selected by the selection unit (34) and charging the selected storage battery cell; and a control unit (35) for changing, based on the degradation information obtained by the monitoring unit (33), a storage battery cell to be selected by the selection unit (34) and adjusting power to be supplied by the electricity supply unit (32).
