<p>Process for the preparation of a heterophasic propylene copolymer comprising a random propylene copolymer and an elastomeric propylene copolymer, wherein the process is a sequential polymerization process comprising the steps of (a) polymerizing in at least two reactors a random propylene copolymer having a comonomer in the range of 1.0 to 9.0wt.-%, (b) polymerizing in two further reactors an elastomeric propylene copolymer, the random propylene copolymer and the elastomeric propylene copolymer form the heterophasic propylene copolymer, wherein the heterophasic propylene copolymer has . a xylene cold soluble content (XCS)in the range of 20to 45 wt.-%, . a comonomer content in the range of 7.5to 12.0wt.-%,and wherein further . the xylene cold soluble (XCS) fraction of the heterophasic propylene copolymer has a comonomer content in the range of 16.0 to 28.0 wt.-%.</p> |
