<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a golf ball which is improved in its coating layer, enlarged in a friction force with a golf club, and improved in spin performance. <P>SOLUTION: This golf ball 1 includes: a core 10 located in the center of the golf ball; a cover 30 surrounding the external side of the core and having a plurality of dimples 32 on its surface; the coating layer 40 further surrounding the external side of the cover; and a top coat further surrounding the external side of the coating layer. The coating layer 40 is formed of a material having rubber elasticity. The top coat may have a thickness not larger than 60 μm. The material forming the coating layer 40 has a first loss tangent, a material forming the cover 30 has a second loss tangent, and a difference d between the first loss tangent and the second loss tangent may be 0.05 or larger. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
