<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple Hakama (Japanese-made skirt) which allows anyone to easily wear the Hakama with few operation in the visible range from the start, i.e. substantially lateral or front operations only. <P>SOLUTION: The simple Hakama is composed of a Hakama body and a Hakama belt for fixing a back body of the Hakama body to a body of a wearer. The Hakama belt is disposed in such a form that a connection plate which is inserted into a waist plate of the Hakama from a lower part projects from a belt side part in a predetermined position from belt free ends. The belt free ends includes a means for mutually connecting the two free ends of the belt. The Hakama body includes a receiving part for connecting to the connection plate of the Hakama belt in the waist plate.
