The purpose of the present invention is to provide an inner-rotor type motor that enables a covering member to be produced easily and inexpensively without impairing an ability to prevent dust from entering inside the motor, and ease of assembling to be significantly improved. In a stator (10) of this inner-rotor type motor, four outer surface sections (16d, 18d), which are substantially in-plane with the outer surface of the motor at core back sections (12a), are provided on respective frame sections (16b, 18b) of two insulating members (16, 18) of an insulator that ensures insulation between a stator core (12) and coils (14), respective outer surface sections (16d, 18d) of the frame sections (16b, 18b) of the insulating members (16, 18) are inserted between respective leg sections (30c, 32c) located at the four corners of covering members (30, 32) that are respectively provided on either side of stator core (12) in the axial direction, and the covering members (30, 32) are attached to the stator core (12) in said state. |
