Provided is a light guide member that can be installed on an input device, and an input device provided with the light guide member. A pen input device (40) of one embodiment of the present invention comprises a pen (3) that generates light and an input system (50). The pen input device (40) is configured so that the pen (3) can make contact with the surface thereof, and has a transparent light guide plate (1) that can diffract the light from the pen (3) and propagate the same into the inside of the device, and image pickup units (10, 20) that capture at mutually different locations portions of the light flux propagated in the transparent light guide plate (1). The contact coordinate positions of the pen (3) are determined based on images picked up by each image pickup unit.
