<p>Holding device (10) for holding a preform (36) including multiple flat, fiber reinforced mats (38) by suction force, comprises a holding element (12) and at least one suction device (14), where the holding element has a hollow cavity open at one side, which is restricted by a three-dimensionally formed inner surface. At least a suction opening is provided on the inner surface, which has at least one air-conducting connection with the suction device, where air is sucked through the air-conducting connection from the suction device to the suction opening for holding the preform by suction force. Independent claims are also included for: (1) a system for heating the above mentioned preform comprising the above mentioned holding device, comprising a supporting element, at least one first heating device, and at least one second heating device, where one side of the preform is placeable on the supporting element at least in regions in a flat manner, which is facing away from the side of the preform engageable in planar contact with the inner surface of the cavity of the holding device; and (2) heating the preform using the above mentioned system, comprising (a) accommodating the preform using the holding device by suction of the preform to the inner surface delimiting the cavity, (b) moving the holding device and the preform held in the holding device up to the supporting element and placing one side of the preform on the supporting element, which faces away from the side of the preform provided in surface contact with the inner surface, and (c) transferring thermal energy of the holding elements and/or the supporting elements to the preform by heating the holding element using the first heating device and/or by heating the supporting elements using the second heating device.</p> |
