<p>Disclosed is a method for manufacturing a secondary battery, which may increase a capacity of the secondary battery and effectively prevent movement of an electrode assembly. The method manufactures a secondary battery having no beading portion at a battery can and includes preparing a battery can having an outer protrusion protruding outwards on the outer circumference thereof, inserting an electrode assembly into the battery can, and applying a pressure to the outer protrusion of the battery can toward the inside of the battery can so that an inner protrusion is formed on the inner circumference of the battery can.</p> |
