The invention relates to a length-adjustable connecting rod (1) for a reciprocating-piston engine, in particular internal combustion engine, having at least one first and one second rod part (2, 4), which two rod parts (2, 4) are displaceable relative to and/or into one another in a telescopic fashion, wherein the second rod part (4) forms a guide cylinder (4a) and the first rod part (2) forms a piston element (3) which is longitudinally displaceable in the guide cylinder (4a), wherein between the first and second rod part (2, 4) there is formed a high-pressure chamber (4b) into which issues at least one first oil duct (10) in which is arranged at least one valve formed as a control valve (6), the setting element of which can be displaced into a first position by a restoring spring (9) and into a second position by oil pressure counter to the force of the restoring spring (9). In order to permit an adjustment of the compression ratio in as simple a manner as possible, it is provided that a second oil duct (15) formed as a supply duct issues into the high-pressure chamber (4b), in which second oil duct is arranged a check valve (16) which opens in the direction of the high-pressure chamber (4b), wherein the control valve (6) has a setting piston (6a) which is axially displaceable in a receiving bore (7) and which opens and shuts off the first and second oil ducts (10, 15). |
