<p>This headup display has a light source, an illuminance detection means, a first adjustment means, a second adjustment means, a setting means and a control means. The first adjustment means automatically adjusts, corresponding to illuminance detected by means of the illuminance detection means, a quantity of light to be outputted from the light source. The second adjustment means adjusts, on the basis of operations performed by a user, the quantity of the light to be outputted from the light source. The setting means performs switching between a first state, in which the adjustment is performed by means of the first adjustment means, and a second state, in which the adjustment is not performed. In the cases of being in the second state, when the light source is brought into the turned-on state from the turned-off state, the control means turns on the light source with the light quantity that corresponds to the detected illuminance, then, permits the second adjustment means to perform the adjustment.</p> |
