Disclosed are a stream migration method and device. The method comprises: a mobile anchor device receiving a message from a mobile access device, the message carrying network status information of a non-3GPP access network (S402); performing stream migration of a mobile node (MN) according to the network status information of the non-3GPP access network and a network selection policy (S404). In the present invention, the mobile access device reports the network status information of the access network where the terminal is, so that the mobile anchor device timely obtains and maintains the network status information of the non-3GPP access network where the MN is, so as to ensure that the stream migration may be completed smoothly and accurately, thereby improving the user service experience.
