A game system (1) comprises a center server (3), and a plurality of game terminals (GT) which are capable of connecting to the center server (3) via a network (5). The game system provides ranking information using game results of each of the game terminals (GT) . A GPS function is disposed on each of the plurality of game terminals (GT), said function transmitting the present terminal's location information to the center server (3) . On the center server (3), select game results are extracted from the game results of the plurality of game terminals (GT) on the basis of the location information of each of the game terminals (GT), and a prescribed process is executed which is limited to the extracted select game results such that a ranking which is limited to the extracted select game results is provided. |
