ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICE WITH HIGH CAPACITY AND METHOD FOR PREPARING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid problems such as change in appearance of a battery and degradation in life characteristics and C-rate characteristics caused by gas generation even if an electrochemical device is charged to an extent exceeding a gas generation plateau potential, and to provide a method of manufacturing the electrochemical device securing an increased capacity by being charged to an extent exceeding a gas generation plateau potential from second charging.

SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: charging an electrode active material having a gas generation plateau potential in a charging period of an electrochemical device to an extent exceeding the plateau potential; and degassing.
