The present invention relates to a communication terminal, an information processing method of the same, and a recoding medium. A communication terminal according to the present invention includes: a communication unit which enables transmission and reception of text messages, and data communication; an emotion processing unit which searches whether character strings, which are included in data containing the character strings or in a text message received through the communication unit, include an emotional expression character string amongst the character strings, and attaches a setting value of a corresponding emotional expression character string to the received text message or data; a storage unit which stores an emotional expression character string and a setting value corresponding to the emotional expression character string in the form of a database; a text-to-speech (TTS) processing unit which generates speech information corresponding to the setting value of the emotional expression character string and a received character string; and an audio unit which outputs speech information generated by the TTS processing unit. |
