<p>Disclosed are a data transmitting method and apparatus, so that an SGSN/MME can transmit uplink small data through an MTC-IWF entity. The data transmitting method provided by the present invention comprises: receiving an uplink small data; determining an MTC-IWF entity; and transmitting the uplink small data through the MTC-IWF entity. In the present invention, the SGSN/MME can transmit uplink small data through the MTC-IWF entity, which shortens a path for small data transmission and reduces consumption of network signaling resources.</p> |
