The flap arrangement (10) has a flap element (14) which is attached to a base element (12) and is movable between open and closed positions. The flap element has brackets (40,42) that are connected to a lid portion (44). Flap hinge portions (34,36) are provided to mount the flap element to base support portions (30,32) of the base element. Transverse wall portions (20,22) of the base element are extended along a longitudinal axis (16), and positioned adjacent to brackets of flap element. The flap element is fixable in a detent portion (66) formed in the transverse wall portions.
