PURPOSE: A device of detecting a position of a cam and a crank for an internal combustion engine is provided to detect the position of a cam and a crank in an industrial engine detecting a top dead-centre position by replacing a target wheel detecting a top dead-centre position by a target wheel detecting a position of a cam and a crank. CONSTITUTION: A device of detecting a position of a cam and a crank for an internal combustion engine comprises a target wheel(110), a crank position sensor(300), and a cam position sensor(200). The target wheel is installed at a position in which a top dead center detecting device is removed, and a first sensed part(111a) and a second sensed part(113a) are formed. The crank position sensor detects a crank position by sensing the first sensed part formed on the target wheel. The cam position sensor detects a cam position by sensing the second sensed part formed on the target wheel.
