<p>A gas-insulated device for electrical use is equipped with: charging high-voltage conductors (3); a sealed tank (12) filled with an insulating gas (15); insulting spacers (11) that define gas compartments and support the high-voltage conductors (3); and a pressure release device (2) that is provided with a flow path opening connecting the interior and the exterior of the sealed tank (12), and that releases pressure in the sealed tank (12). The minimum flow path cross-sectional area SD of the flow path opening of the pressure release device (2) and the operating pressure Pop of the pressure release device (2) are in a range satisfying the conditional expression SD>VT/{Kgb×log((Kc×Ta-Pop)/(Kc×Ta-PD))}. In the normal state, wherein the pressure in a subject gas compartment (111) does not exceed the operating pressure, the sealed tank (12) is kept sealed, and in the abnormal state, wherein the pressure in the subject gas compartment (111) exceeds the operating pressure, the pressure in the sealed tank (12) is released.</p> |
