<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a torsion beam type suspension that can shorten a weld length and attempt lightening while reducing parts count. <P>SOLUTION: A torsion beam 4 has both sides plate parts 4a and 4b, and an upper plate part 4c, and opens a lower side. Notches 22a and 22b corresponding to a cross-sectional shape of a trailing arm 2 are formed on an edge side of the torsion beam 4. The notches 22a and 22b have apertures 24a and 24b, enclose the periphery of a trailing arm 2 inserted in the notches 22a and 22b and form the aperture 24a and 24b to the size that cannot insert the apertures 24a and 24b of the notches 22a and 22b. Relief holes 26a and 26b that can insert the tip-ends 28a and 28b are formed on the trailing arm 2, the tip-ends 28a and 28b are inserted in the relief holes 26a and 26b, and the trailing arm 2 are turned around the longitudinal direction, and inserted in the notches 22a and 22b and welded. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
